A humorous twist on the Farmer’s Market

I was sent this link today. It’s kinda funny, although in New Zealand there are farmer’s markets and then there are ‘farmer’s markets’.

The Matakana Farmers Market, for instance, transports expensive crafted food into a rural environment so Omaha Beach weekenders can conveniently buy the goods they might ordinarily buy at their local deli in Parnell and Remuera.

The Chaffers Street market down by the waterfront in Wellington on a Sunday morning hosts market gardeners from the Manawatu and Horowhenua – it’s real food at super cheap prices.

Whether you shop at Matakana or Chaffers, or somewhere else you’ll hopefully enjoy the video.

Thanks for the link Matt.
